How To Find Us
Airworks Paragliding School is based in Sussex in a village called Glynde ; near to Brighton,
Lewes and Eastbourne. (Not far from London)
By Road -
- The A27 runs along the coast and is joined just north of Brighton
by the A23 from London.
- You travel east from this point along the A27 and cross several
roundabouts.
- Carry on past Lewes, the road then becomes a single carriageway.
You will then cross a railway level crossing and then one more
roundabout
- Go straight on at this roundabout towards Eastbourne and Hastings.
- Take the first turning left, sign posted Glynde.
- Follow the road through the village, over the small railway
bridge and then turn left into the station car park.
By Rail -
- Glynde Station is on the main line to Eastbourne.
- There are trains from London and Brighton, but generally you
have to catch the slow train from Lewes to actually stop at Glynde.
- There is a train for Glynde every hour from Lewes and Eastbourne.
Airworks is situated in
the converted station building.
