Solo Taster Days

Have you ever dreamed of soaring like a bird?

Airworks can make that dream a reality! Paragliding and paramotoring can be enjoyed by people of any age - you can learn to paraglide in as few as ten days or to paramotor in as few as twelve.

With our expert tuition you will quickly develop the technique to become a competent pilot; strength is not a requirement. We have private sites covering all wind directions, ideal for the early days.

We keep our group sizes small and have a small intake. Hence we train many more pilots to the higher level 'Pilot' and 'Advanced Pilot' ratings than all other local schools put together. Our Club Pilot training includes the top landing and slope landing skills required to fly safely in the UK but rarely taught abroad.

We usually meet at Glynde Village Car Park at 09:00, then travel to the day's flying site, but do check the weather message as both time and place can be dictated by the weather (When booking in do let us know you if are travelling by train). You can even fly here, landing at the nearby Deanland or Kittyhawk PPR airfields and we will collect you so long you tell us in advance!

Paragliding Training & Gift Vouchers

We have private sites covering all wind directions, ideal for the early days. Nonetheless we will ensure that all our CP students are familiar with the local club sites they will fly once qualified. We go out training most days and we offer a personal approach to training... (Minimum age 14, Maximum weight 200kg!)

Dual Flights & Gift Vouchers

If you just want to experience the exhilaration of flight straight from the top of the hill without going through all the training of a one day taster, then a tandem flight lesson is what you're looking for… (Minimum age 12 except in very special circumstances, Maximum weight 100kg)

Paramotor Training & Gift Vouchers

If you wish to be able to fly without the need for a ridge lift or thermals and are put off by the cost of flying light aircraft, then paramotoring is just made for you…
